ဟြာေယာင္ သွ်မ္းလူမ်ဳိးတုုိ႔ဟာ တရုုတ္ျပည္ ယူနန္ျပည္နယ္ရဲ႕ အေနာက္ေတာင္ဘက္မွာရွိတဲ့ Ailao Mountain (သွ်မ္းလုုိ႔ေတာ့ အုုိက္ေလာ၀္းေတာင္ လုုိထြက္မယ္ထင္တယ္) Red River ျမစ္နီ တေလွ်ာက္မွာ ေနထုုိင္ၾကတဲ့ သွ်မ္းမ်ဳိးႏြယ္တခုုပါ သူတုုိ႔အဓိက ေနထုုိင္ၾကတဲ့ ၿမိဳ႕ေတြကေတာ့ ဇင္းပင္း၊ ယန္က်င္း၊ မိုုဆာ၊ ဆူးတင္းၿမိဳ႕ ( Xingping County and Yuanjiang County.Mosha Town, and Shuitang Town) ယင္း ၿမိဳ႕ေတြ အဓိကေနထုုိင္ၾကပါတယ္။

Huayao Tai are historically part of the great and ancient Tai race . They are a part of the officially constructed dai nationally in China, they desire to be recognized as a separate minority group. It is possible that the Huayao Tai were a tai group who originally lived in eastern Yunan and migrated to their present location in the Xischuangbanna prefecture.
Huayao Tai women are instantly recognizable by their huge circular hats.They also carry with them a small bamboo basket, containing needle and thread cosmetics or foods.This distinctive dress of the Huayao tai differs from one area to another by variations in their dress and the ornaments which their area.
In Xinping County, one will find that Huayao Dai ethnic villages are nestled in lush bamboo groves. Bamboo wares can be seen in each village and each family so that it seems locals can't go without them.
Huayao Tai People also like to live near the water. They indeed have a great affection for the water and having formed characters of tolerance and cleanness like water for thousand yeaes .Because of the water, some rivers flowing through villages they live for generations, trees, flowers, crops grow very well.
